Feline Haven

Low-key luxury and more natural light sources were the goals for this dark two-bedroom apartment in its original state from 30 years ago! Walls were knocked down so that space from the second bedroom was used to enlarge the master bedroom and to create walk-in closet. Heavy curtains were replaced with white wooden venetian blinds, and crisp, layered whites throughout the home are complemented by soothing beige and peach accents.

The homeowners love their cats and wanted to make the space safe and convenient for them by adding fitted screens to the windows to protect from accidents, and a concealed litter box was built into the bathroom’s lower cabinet. Privacy is ensured for each inhabitant of the home. Neutral cream, beige tones keep the space light and soothing, a comfortable retreat from urban life.
