This industrial studio workspace was formerly a dark storage area that had not been touched in years. The goal was to create a fun and functional office while preserving most of the original structure. A window above the newly enlarged entranceway was added to bring in more natural light, and exposed light bulbs dangling from cords over a hardwood conference table gives the space a creative focal point.
A custom-built wooden display cabinet by the entrance brings a sense of elegance while maximizing storage. Cheerful pops of color add a lively kick to the space, while open shelving makes the room feel airy and bright. The result is a modern, light-filled space that seamlessly incorporates industrial concrete, natural wood and color-saturated fabrics in a chic and modern style.
